About Us!

Welcome to our About Us page! I'm Creator/Designer Jarrod Aldinger (Trail name North Stars) - Trail Tees was created in 2016 after an inspirational north-bound Appalachian Trail Thru hike! I was truly inspired by the 5 months I spent in the wonderful wilderness on the East Coast. A passion for the outdoors, for hiking, for backpacking, and for travel are just a few of the things that were realized over the course of that Thru hike. With approximately 100 miles of backpacking experience under my belt, I left my job in retail management and decided that I desperately needed to get outside and unwind - by Thru hiking the Appalachian Trail!

Hiking has been proven to lower levels of stress, clear the mind, and jump start creativity among many other things! Everyone should take their next day off and hit the trail - doesn't matter which one, doesn't matter how far you hike, but get OUTSIDE and enjoy it!

These Tees have been designed for anyone who loves hiking and backpacking, even if you haven't been lucky enough to attempt a thru hike yet. My hope is that by wearing these Tees they will simply start a conversation - one that will allow you to share your experiences of hiking. By having that conversation, you may just inspire someone else to get out there and discover the beauty that awaits them!
